Maintaining Health · Recovering Wisdom

We learn, save and transmit with much love the treasures of Indigenous Wisdom.

We take care of ourselves, we take care of everything and everyone.

We create and maintain beauty and cleanliness, such clear food for the body and soul.

We live life as a prayer: happy, inspired, serene, with devotion... playing.

We are Aware of the "Next Happy Step" and We Choose It.

Indigenous Wisdom?

The simplicity of Listening to Nature and Letting Yourself Be Guided by the Whisper has made that in these remote villages, according to the sources of its first visitors, Fertility, Giving Birth, Education, Raising Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Socially and Spiritually Balanced offspring at all stages of life , has been something Easy and Serene as well as Harmonious with the Earth and all the Resources it Gives.

Care for?

Enjoy the Privilege of being Here and Now, in this place and with the people around us, and being able to Serve and, hopefully, leave everything and everyone better than we found them ;)

...And this starts by taking care of and honoring yourself first, so that you have all the energy in the world and can give.

Beauty and Cleanliness?

This is what we learn from healthy wild animals: the deer, the eagle, the wolf, a butterfly... their habitats, their homes, their fur, feathers or shiny wings... everything beautiful and maintained, as well as useful ; ) Nothing is left over, nothing is missing. Everything is alive, even death, forming part of a cycle that gives life to the next.

A Prayer?

Watching a puppy, human or not, start to walk, to fly, has something of a prayer about it, doesn't it? That concentration, that naturalness of something innate, that patience, that confidence that it will succeed, that falling down and getting back up, that synchronized mastery of so many elements, that joy... And the same when we discover and play and build as children, it's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? Well, living like that, because, why lose that? Better to lose other things ; ) And also knowing how to rest, listening to the body and the little head when they need to stop, and then sleeping like babies, regenerating ourselves to the fullest. And helping you to do all this yourself if you want.

Happy Next Step?

There are always several options about what to do next, in the next moment, about what decision to make, sometimes very different options or sometimes just different because of small nuances. Well, out of all of them, choosing only the one that, in canine language, "makes us wag our tails", the one that makes everyone involved feel super happy... that's the good one ; ) The one that opens the door to another miracle... and then another... and another... And life becomes something magical that kisses us.

You need to let go ;)

What if none of the options make us feel super motivated, but also calm and certain?

Well then it's time to wait, not choose anything yet, save energy and time for when it appears and trust that it is there when it falls, ready for us... I create it ; )

This has been the great lesson that our first baby has brought. And this is also his name.

Zero Waste

The delights that our region offers are more than enough to delight all your senses, Km. 0.

Little or no carbon footprint.

The containers and utensils that you can take home are all reusable or compostable. The ones you leave here, along with the rest that we generate, we reuse, sanitizing them with an old autoclave machine that came as a gift. When cutting vegetables, we save the peels to make delicious broths along with juicy bones. The mare eats the peels of many fruits. The seeds are thrown into the forest. We dry the peels of oranges and lemons for future use... and there is little left that the chickens or goats don't want either! Avocado peels and any rotten things go into the compost. Everything in a circle.

And what can we say about the wonder of what grows right there without even needing watering... we have learned a lot about the wild edible plants around the house while we couldn't make a garden because we didn't have water!

Water, a resource used as something absolutely sacred. When we arrived we didn't have any and every drop was a miracle and had many lives.

As newcomers, there has been so much to do, we have not yet been able to give life to everything we would like... we are still together ;)

Wild

The mineral wealth that wild land, either uncultivated or cultivated long ago and now wild, holds is unmatched. Strong plants grow there, surviving through wisdom and natural selection for generations and against any obstacle or atmospheric inclemency. The uncultivated soil remains intact, allowing the uninterrupted flow of all the valuable information that travels from root to root through tiny filaments and fungi... what plants tell each other. Eating something full of all that wisdom and listening seems wonderful to us. Some of that vibration and vital force must stay in the body. Hopefully some of it will stick to us ; )

The same with animals, nourishing ourselves with the gift given to us by those who only know life in freedom, the intact instinct to choose what to eat and what not... what valuable information to build the little bodies of our children... how sacred.

Weston A. Price

A dentist with a clear mission: to discover the secret that the indigenous people kept to keep their teeth (and bones) so healthy.

Canada, 1930s: After observing how his white clients suffered from numerous cavities and malformations of the mouth and bones in general, and chronic diseases, especially the richest ones, and that, however, "the poor natives" enjoyed splendid alignments of teeth without rot, Weston and his wife embarked on an adventure to the most remote villages on the planet to study the diet and habits of these human specimens who were so healthy both physically and emotionally.

In every corner he found a dietary similarity: from generation to generation they passed on the wisdom of how to get the most nutrients from each food that nature provides, and they placed special emphasis on finding, reserving and giving the most nutritious foods to couples who were going to conceive, to pregnant or nursing mothers, and to children.

And there is an emotional and spiritual similarity: their value and their life revolved around how to best serve their tribe. And this service with excellence filled them with balance and happiness.
